The Deck and Football is Finished

Finally, the final chapter in the deck! Hooray it is stained, finished, inspected and legal!!! The kids did a great job on the staining.

Football season started off with a bang this year. A #2 ranking in the state. Bryce as the #2 reciever in the state. And then the injuries... Bryce's fractured leg and four other key player injuries pretty much shot the season. Bryce was able to play the last two games, but he is still dealing with some pain. Anyway, not the Senior season anyone dreams of, but at least it was memorable.

Volleyball, Homecoming Dance, Work

Last Saturday, Katie's team was honored in playing in the Metro-League Championships. The top four 8th grade teams in the area were selected. The Falcon girls played their hearts out, but came up a little short. Here are some pics of Katie.

Katie played awesome. In the second game, we were behind, but it was Katie's turn to serve. She had the competition scrambling... serving 13 consecutive points!!!

One thing about little Katie.... If the ball comes in her area, it isn't going to hit the ground!

Bryce and Tyler heading out for the Homecoming Dance.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.... Well, it will probably take a thousand to describe this blurry pic. After checking out at Cosco, we walked by Cassi's check stand and snapped this pic.

October Leaf Ride

This weekend Audra and I headed up in the mountains, just 30 minutes from the house. Gold Camp Road climbs around the backside of Pike's Peak and offers phenomenal views. Unobstructed views off the back of a motorcycle are awesome. Enjoy the pics....
