Audra's Flowers and the end of our Growing Season

Over the past couple of years, Audra has really developed a 'Green Thumb' and takes great pride in her flowers. A big part of the equation is learning what will grow at 7,000 feet elevation....and then a healthy dose of Miracle Grow!!!! HA!!!! Anyway, the beautiful flowers came to a halt the past couple of days with 6" of snow and 17 degree temps. I believe that Winter is officially here in Colorado.

Katie's Volleyball Season

Katie has had an awesome Volleyball Season.

Bryce and Sean - Track Riding

With Sean and Bryce owning a couple of nice little dirt bikes, they decided to head to the track. Of course, Sean is an Ex-Pro.....so Bryce was nothing but a student, learning a ton with his first track experience. There was some high flying (mainly by Sean) and there was a dropped bike (once by Bryce), but overall the boys had a blast!!!! Both boys are riding blue, Yamaha bikes.....but Sean wearing the Red and White and Bryce is wearing blue and white.

A-Basin Ski Mountain Opened Today!!!

Today was the opening day for A-Basin Ski Mountain. I didn't want to drag out all the gear yet, so I took a day for a great ride through the mountains. It was a 315 mile loop with stunning views of the snow capped mountains and many of the trees still turning colors. If you click on the pic to enlarge, you can see the skiers at the chair lift and some of them coming down the slope.

Sean's 23rd Birthday

With Sean's Mom in Afganistan, the Lane's helped Sean celebrate his 23rd birthday party. He enjoyed a plate of pork, some Tiramisu Cake.....and received a nice pair of Snowboard Boots.

Katie's Homecoming Dance

As many kids do these days, Katie joined a group of kiddos for the Home Coming Dance. Our little girl is so beautiful!!!!
