Tyler......Our New 15 Year-Old!!!
Hey....check out our Tyler. Yep...the cake reads correctly...he is 15 years old!!!

Tyler chose the white cake with whipped topping icing and chocolate ice cream.
Knowing that Dad purchased an annual membership to our golf course, Tyler has been begging for a new set of clubs. He's a happy boy!!! Other gifts were tees, balls, a golf glove and the big gift.....Driver's Ed Class!
The supporting staff.

Tyler had the opportunity to choose a restaurant and eat out, but he opted for take-out and a DVD rental, "The Guardian". Of course, take-out came from his favorite Chinese dive, Tsing Toa House and he enjoyed Sesame Chicken. The DVD was a pretty good movie.

Audra in the Spot Light!

This is an article that is written by a high school student and posted in the paper.
The 'class rank' statement was a big laugh for us......We both graduated from a very small school.
If you will click on the article, it blows up enough where you can read the article.

Angel Fire
Another fun weekend. Audra and I drove down to Angel Fire on Friday evening to spend the night with colleague and friends, Mark and Kim Turner. Mark and I have been working together with PDL here in Colorado for 5 years and have built a great relationship. Anyway, Kim's parents (from Dallas) have an awesome home in Angel Fire, the place where we spent Friday night and enjoyed great company. We were actually one of four other couples that came up for the weekend.
The time up there was fun. We started off Friday evening with some great BBQ and then made our way back to the house, where we played a Wii bowling tournament late into the evening hours.

Saturday morning we awoke to the sounds of Ethan, headed down-stairs and began to help Kim with Breakfast..... great breakfast buritos and awesome, local cinamon rolls.

Then we bundled up and headed for the slopes....only about 1/2 a mile from the house. It was really great to ski with a group of adults...all about the same skill levels, all day.
Yep, we left the kiddos at home.....all by themselves. It is really nice to have kids that are grown up.....able to keep themselves.
The snow was just awesome. Angel Fire has had record levels of snow this year, and the day before we arrived, they received another 14 inches. Needless to say, the skiing is the best we have had in a very long time. This was sort of a homecoming for Audra, as she skied Angel Fire in 1985. It was a new experience for me.
Enjoy the pics..........
(Click on the pics for a great view)
Here is Audra with Ethan, Mark and Kim's... 6 month old little boy. He is BIG fun.
And....you must know that skiing is quickly followed by a great cup of coffee.
